Baramulla: In honor of her father, a girl in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district has penned down a maiden poetry book, “My Lost Childhood.”
Speaking to The Web Story, a class 11 student, Seerat Manzoor, resident of Kreeri village, said she lost her father when she was very young, which had a huge impact on her life.
“Being a fatherless girl only put me in the emotional world where writing became my secret partner. I had been the victim of many ups and downs, especially being an orphan girl. But I never gave up,” she said.
She said that growing up without a father might seem easy for others, but for her, it was too difficult.
“Without knowing even a father’s love and care, life was very tough for me,” she added.
Seerat used to feel the absence of my father’s love every time, which led her to the writing world
“I wrote my debut book “My Lost Childhood,” which is about human emotions, self-love, bondings, and the relationship with my father,” she further said.
Seerat said that the language used in the book is lucid.
She said that publishing a book was never possible without the help of her mother.
“My mother is my mentor and inspiration. All this wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my mother and my brother,” she said.
Seerat further said that she is looking forward to appearing in the NEET.
“I am a science student, and I’m very passionate about becoming a doctor,” she told The Webstory.
