The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken action against Zahoor Ahmad Shah Watali, who was arrested in 2017, by attaching three immovable properties in Handwara, located in the north Kashmir district of Kupwara.
Earlier today, a team of NIA officials attached three parcels of land measuring 13.3 Marlas, 8.6 Marlas, and 10.3 Marlas.
To inform the public about this development, “notice of attachment” signs have been erected near the respective properties.
In connection with the case (RC-10/2017/NIA/DLI), the NIA had previously attached Watali’s house near Gurdwara in Baghat Srinagar on May 31 this year.
This action was carried out as per the orders of the special NIA court at Pataila House Courts in New Delhi.
The NIA continues its investigation into the matter, aiming to gather more information related to the case and take appropriate action accordingly.
