Sopore: Another injured youth from Sopore has succumbed to his injuries hours after being involved in a devastating road mishap at Sangri Top area in Watlab, Sopore.
Sources have informed The Web Story that Monday evening turned out to be devastating and distressing for the residents of Sopore when shocking news of the road accident spread.
The tragedy unfolded as one of the young, unmarried individual lost his life on the spot, while the other injured person succumbed to his injuries a few hours later at a medical facility in Srinagar.
A doctor at the sub-district hospital told The Web Story that on Monday evening, we received two individuals in critical condition. One of them, identified as Umar Ziki, was declared brought dead on arrival, while the other, Iqbal Najar, was referred to a medical facility in Srinagar for advanced treatment.
Sources have revealed that the injured person, after being admitted to the hospital, unfortunately passed away due to his severe injuries.
The accident occurred at Sangri Top in the Watlab area of Sopore, when both individuals were travelling in a private car with the registration number HR (Wagon R). The car veered off the top and rolled down, causing the accident.
The police have taken note of this tragic road mishap.
Meanwhile, the entire town is in shock over this sad news, and emotional and heartbroken scenes were witnessed everywhere.
From the hospital to their residence in Model Town, people are grieving and expressing their sadness through tears and emotions.
