Says Security Situation Enhanced After Abrogation of Article 370
Kolkata, Dec 22 : The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha, on Friday stated that the security situation in the union territory has significantly improved since the abrogation of Article 370.
He made this assertion following a militant attack in Poonch district of Jammu division, which resulted in the death of five soldiers.
Sinha as per The Web Story condemned the violence and attributed attempts to disrupt peace to neighboring Pakistan.
LG Sinha compared the security situation in Kashmir to that in Bengal, claiming that it is better in the former.
Speaking at a program titled “Scope of Industry in Jammu & Kashmir,” Sinha highlighted the improved industrial climate in the union territory and encouraged investments in the region. He said the rapid and unprecedented transformation in UT, appropriate policies for investors, economic growth, and employment generation.
