Pampore’s BTech Graduate Turns Culinary Entrepreneur

Ganderbal : Ubaid Ullah Mir, a BTech graduate from Pampore area of southern region of Kashmir, defied destiny’s plan to pursue a career in the technology field and instead discovered his passion in the culinary world. Currently serving delicious dishes in central Kashmir, Ganderbal district.
Reflecting on his journey, Mir shared with The Web Story that although my childhood dream was to become an entrepreneur, my family initially had different aspirations for me. This created some initial gaps as I embarked on his culinary path, but over time, my family became my staunch supporters, joining me on my journey to success in the culinary world.
Today, my family takes immense pride in my accomplishments. Not only have I established a source of income for myself, but I have also addressed the job crisis in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir by providing employment opportunities to other young individuals.
Ubaid runs a restaurant in Kangan as part of the Zero Miles Grill and Cafe chain. His Kangan outlet employs over ten individuals.
Note : Sometimes, destiny can lead us down unexpected paths, but when we find ourselves on a fulfilling path that yields positive results, we feel satisfied and content with every moment lived happily.
