Baramulla, Jan 12: In the cold and harsh winter of Kashmir, tea becomes a comforting treat, and when it’s “Kulhad Chai,” the taste becomes even more savory.
If you happen to be traveling on the Srinagar-Muzafarabad national highway, make sure to stop at Kanispora. There, you’ll find a Kulhad Chai outlet that serves a variety of flavorful teas.
The Web Story spoke to Rameez Bhat, a PhD student who decided to introduce Kulhad Chai in Baramulla. He said, “I got inspired by the love for this tea in Delhi, and there I decided to bring diverse chai experiences to my local area.”
He mentioned, “I’ve been reaching out to various companies in search of the perfect venture, and amidst the options, the concept of serving kulhad chai stood out as the most appealing and unique. I believe implementing this idea could not only benefit me but also contribute to elevating our town.”
He added, “This venture holds particular significance as it marks the inaugural kulhad chai outlet in Baramulla, making it a pioneering and unique establishment for the town.”
“We will be offering our customers 33 varieties of tea at reasonable prices,” Rameez added.
Previously making waves with a bakery unit in Kansipora, Baramulla, Rameez’s passion for crafting delectable baked goods has earned him praise and encouragement. His foray into the restaurant scene is marked by innovation and a commitment to satisfying local palates.
