PAU Unveils Stunning Replica
Srinagar, Feb 08: The Tulip Garden, which plays an important role in the beauty of Kashmir with its stunning array of colorful flowers, will now be showcased at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana.
After the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Kashmir, a replica of this tulip garden is now located at Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana.
Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice Chancellor of PAU, praised the garden’s contribution to promoting floriculture and biodiversity. He remarked, “The newly established Tulip Garden at Punjab Agricultural University has transformed into a mesmerizing floral attraction, captivating not only the residents of Ludhiana but also drawing visitors from across Punjab. With its meticulously arranged tulips in a vibrant array of hues, this garden creates a paradise that mirrors the beauty of renowned gardens in Holland and Kashmir, providing everyone with the opportunity to experience nature’s artistry right here in Ludhiana.”

Adding to the beauty of the Tulip Garden at PAU, Punjab’s famous author and nature artist Harpreet Sandhu, who has captured the entire garden’s beauty through his magical lens, stated that the Tulip Garden of Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana truly showcases the beauty of nature. It features a stunning array of tulips in various shades, including rich hues of red, yellow, pink, purple, maroon, and white. The tulip flowers offered by the garden create a spectacular visual treat, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and residents of Ludhiana, as well as visitors from across the state, providing a unique glimpse into the natural beauty and horticultural richness.
Sandhu, who captured the entire garden with his camera, said that the establishment of the tulip garden at PAU signifies a major step in promoting floriculture in Punjab. He stated that the cultivation of tulips in the newly developed Tulip Garden in Ludhiana, also known as the Spring Garden of Punjab Agricultural University, serves as a model to encourage floriculturists from across the state of Punjab to diversify their crops for economic and ecological benefits.
